How Long Does It Take To Drop Fry?

Hi there
How long does it take a molly to drop her fry?
I had a guess last night with my balloon molly and popped her into a breeding net as i thought she was due.
I woke this morning and she had 2 fry in with her, i thought i would leave her till i got home from work.
When i get home she still only has 2 fry in the net.
Is she still gonna drop or would that be all she is having?
I have now let her back into the main tank.
She still has the white spot near her back end like it says in the post by 5teady.

Is it maybe possible she started having fry before you placed her in the trap?
How old is she? if she is young she may still only be dropping a few fry.
Have a good look around the tank in plants, hiding places etc, im sure you will find some more.

I agree with the above, many of my young mums only have a few fry the first time, or as 5teady says if you look close enough under rocks etc in the tank, she may well have had a few fry before you removed her.
