How long do I leave the mom in? She's still preg

Hello, my platy had babies two days ago, they're about a centemeter long. I have mom and babies (5) in a ten gallon tank. The mom's still pregnant, she hasn't tried to eat the babies, I'm debating on whether or not to move her back to the platy tank. I don't want her to have babies in that and then all the fish eat the newborns, but I'm worried if I leave her in with the babies she might start eating them.
Any suggestions?

How about scoop all the babies out that were born already?

take her out save the five you got. she will eat them. I did the same mistake. left her in the breeder after she had about 40. she still looked preg. so i left her in there. she ate all but 6. save the five you got. put her back.
