i recently finished a cycle on filter no 1 and was wondering when filter no 2 will finish cycling?

time of insertion

friday 8th july

state at insertion

clean with new media

If they first filter is cycled then the seccond filter will seed off it, takes about six weeks? Not 100% though

cant really, theres fish in there!

butt then i guess the fish will produce enough

Can you transfer any media from your cycled filter to your un-cycled filter?

Has your first filter was still showing ammonia & nitrite a few days ago,i would just run both this can take 4-6 weeks.

Do you intend on keeping both filters?

i intend to heep both running, and i cannot transfer any media otherwise the otheer filter will not work as well as it should (waste will slip past the foams)
