How Long Can You Read Results For?

I have the api freshwater liquid master test kit. Although i appreciate opinions, i was hoping if someone KNEW wether or not you could read the test results for long after the five minutes? Or do the chemicals in fact break down or something . The booklet only says wait five minutes and nothing about too much time passing.

Nevermind. Waiting too long can fudge results. At least with the nitrate solutions

Not with the API Master kit in mind in particular, reagents in general can be affected by external enviromental factors such as changes to light temperature etc. Although you might find no change whatsoever after a significant amount of time, I would recommend you waited the required for each particular test, then test your water immeadiately and take that as your result.
