My red platty had 7 fry about a week ago. I've been feeding them either liquid food or crushed flakes 3 times a day and they seem to be doing well.

Problem is, I may not be able to feed them for about 42 hours. My neighbor could would usually help at a time like this is out of town.

Can they make it that long? Is there anything else I can do??? Like is their something that would slowly dissolve over an extended period of time?

Thanks for any help.

I'll be about 1hr 15mins away from my house so I may just have to drive home once.

If its a planted, well established tank then I wouldnt worry at all - theres loads to eat ! If its a bare breeding tank, then give them a good feed (whatever they can eat in 2 minutes ONLY) and remove the adults if possible...
