How Long Are Balloon Mollies Meant To Live?

im asumming as they are "made up" fish ( i have no idea what the proper word is for that sort of fish) that there life span is dramaticaly shortened, i have had mine about 4 months, they were adults when i got them, but now they are dropping like flies, i have only got a black sailfin left-and im not getting more so i hope he will be ok on his own-will he?

the water is definatley not killing him, tho saying that i dont put salt in there, but neither did the shop i got them from
nothing worse than waking up to find dead fish

is this the case with all hybrid or morphed fish ((well i did say i had no idea))

mine did the same, after about 5 months they died, got some fry out mine though all 102 of them, sold them on or they went to the LFS so can't give you a number on age

They live from 2 to 3 years.

Your lucky now a days if they live longer then 2 years
