I have my tertra in a breed net and it's been fat for a long time now, how long does it take to give birth?? I've been waiting for weeks now. I have plants in there to, when they are born do I take to mom out right away and do I feed the newborns different food?

Do you mean tetras? I think so 
. If so, they are an egg layer and probably should not be in the breeding net? What type of tetra is it? Also, it probably isn't a good idea to keep any fish in a breeder net that long.....

If it's a tetra, then I wish you luck getting it to copulate by itself.
