Well in the states we do month-day-year, and you guys do across the pond do day-month-year. I cannot help that the Brits are a bit backwards.

Nice here, 74F & a slight breeze picking up. Actually, that almost counts as cool for us in summer, too cold for swimming

Ah but month-day-year is a bit like writing an address as town-street-state

High of 21 C (70F) predicted for later today, but little chance of rain - just overcast. @MattW When we moved from Lancashire to Teesside we realised the east of the Pennines is a lot drier than the west side.

It's the day after and I just went outside to discover it was warm at 6 AM. For us, that is weird. 22 but with 85% humidity, going to 28 later. In a normal summer, this may be a one day heatwave.
The mosquitoes are all up, having a drink of water and putting on their hunting gear.
