How I Achieve 30+ Ppm Co2 (diy) In A 55 Tank With Hob + Airstone

I have been reading a lot reccently about DIY Co2 systems. It seems that the bell diffuser that you got is one of the best ways to diffuse CO2 into a tank.

Anyways I still have some more questions for you..

If i already have fish in my tank.. is it risky to hook up a diy co2 system as there could be a drop in pH..etc?

I read something about the yeast bottles having to be ABOVE the tank.. is this true?

What is your room temperature? If its low(i live in canada so during the winter it gets pretty cold) should the co2 bottles be kept warm? I read something that if it gets to cold yeast won't be active.

I had more things to discuss but i just woke up and i am not thinking properly.

Thanks
