Ok...

So i've now established that my guppies are pregnant but I am wandering when I can expect babies???

I've filmed them

Here

Typical though! - I've got 3 guppies and the fattest one happens to hide herself as soon as I turn the camera on! So the other one is even fatter than these two.

Sorry for the poor camera work...

THANKS!
TIM

Those two I'd say within 1-2 weeks, maybe a bit longer. It's hard to tell on camera, with them moving and I can't quite get the relative size. But 1-2 weeks is my best guess. :)

It varies by each one, but eating more/less, hiding, chasing other fish, and not moving around much seem to be pretty common signs. :)

Oh - I was hoping that there was like a massive change in their appearance etc. - A really good tell-tale sign that they where about to drop.
I might not notice these changes you've mentioned and then I might not see the fry!

Ive seen a few of mine go under the hornwort plant and sort of hang around there but Ive never known for sure when they are going to pop.Sods law however means that Ive never yet seen one giving birth and have always had to scoop the surviving fry from where they are hiding at the top of the plants when I spot them
BTW,your camerawork is definitely improving :)
