How Early Should I Put Her In?

so i have a female which is pregnant, and she looks somewhat close. all she does is sit in the back of the tank on topr usually in the corner or above the heater. so my question is i will most likely move her or the fry into a five gallon bucket then into about half gallon vase so i can make sure they're doing alright, the will both be unheated, what is the earliest i can put her into the birthing area? she looks to be maybe a week-a week and a half to dropping.
