I have been thinking of getting it.. (for the 55 gallon)

but before I do I don't want it going to crap and end up being a waste of my money. So. I have some question.

Does it look like a good buy?
How much should it cost? is it a good price or is it better if I just buy the same plants on a different sight and not in a kit?
Would it be alright if I did not use a c02 system? Goldfish don't like sudden PH drops.
it says low light growable... but should I just go ahead and get a high light system?
what fertilizers should I get? I am a noob and not looking for trace elements and all that complex stuff listed in

I don't know what plants cost Stateside but this seems expensive. My experience with companies who bulk ship mixed plants like this is not good so I'd get a recommendation before you do anything....

And IMO this claim of theirs 'We've made this easy for you......The following plants will grow in low, medium or high light; and with or without CO2 injection.'........is optimistic at best.
IME, dwarf sag, for 1, will not do well in low light, neither will wendetti red.
If you really want ALL of these particular plants then go for it but I reckon you'll get cheaper and better quality elsewhere....

Thanks.. that I what I thought

any recomendations on sites to buy from?

Well for starters I jsut got my lighting parts.. in the end it should yeild 4.3 WPG!! omg.. >.> is that too much? I might get less watt bulbs next time I go.. haha

4.3wpg is high, so you'd need to keep up on a co2 system otherwise algae is more than likely going to take over your tank.

I am going to replace these 4 60 watt bulbs I have with 40's I think.. that will give me 2.9 watts per gallon.

also. would 2 Hagens do or 3? and how do I stop PH from dropping? my KH is about 7 would "PH 7.0" the stuff that keep PH at 7.0 by Tetra work? any Ideas? it is a goldfish tank.. they prefer 7.2+ :/

I think its 1 kit per 70l so you'd need 3 kits. But imo it would be easier to maintain a co2 level on a 55g tank with pressurised..
I'm not sure about the ph etc as i've only started using co2 myself so i'm unsure of the effects.

pressurized? nah.. I dislike the idea of having to go to a place and refill it.. plus the stuff looks expensive.. :/ a DIY yeast I can jsut throw out as it did not cost me more then a couple coke drinks.
