How Does Riccia Fair Without Co2?

We want to get some riccia to float in our 10 gallon tank (see signature!). Don't want to fuss with CO2 quite yet. Does anyone know how riccia will do if we don't fertilize/CO2 it in any way?

I should also mention we have 1.5 WPG.

Floating Riccia gets its CO2 from the air. It should do fine in your tank if kept floating.
