Hi, I have my new tank setup, and everything seems to be running smoothly, but I'd like opinions from some of you that have been fishkeeping for a bit longer. Tank is a 29G with an approximately 14 year old HOB Power Filter from when I had fish as a teenager(being replaced with a more modern Emperor 280 this weekend). Water conditions are checked regularly, and everything looks good. Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 20. Ph is 7.5-8.0.

So far I have:

4 Guppies
5 Swordtails
3 Corys
1 Spotted Raphael
1 Red-Tail Shark
&
3 African Dwarf Frogs
8 Ghost Shrimp

Do I have too many fish already, or is there room for a few more? If there is room, I plan on adding 2-3 more guppys and maybe a few Danios. Thanks.

rtbs is going to get too big for that tank and is going to become very bossy.
id say no to danios as it will probly be best to get a couple more corys as they like to school
then you will be fully stocked to the limit as i feel you are over stocked atm . :/

Hello!!

Well you have a 29 GAL tank which is 100ltres and you have 17 fish in there.

I have 60litre tank with following.

2 Male Guppies
1 Female swort tail
5 Neons
4 Red Mollies / Platys
1 YoYo loach
3 Blackskirt tetras
2 Leopard Corrys.
1 Algi eater.
2 Snails.

Please note most of my fish is small but still i think if you have very good filtration you can fit allot more fish into a tank than what you think just aslong its not cruel.Alos depends on the tipe of fish.

My fish are all doing very well.

I would get a few small sized fish exstra in your case.

Cherio!
