How Does 1 Anubias Nana Become 2?

How can I make my anubias nana reproduce so I have many of them instead of just 1?

i think to do that you scratch the rhizome with a fingernail around the circumference and it will eventually split. i got lucky with mine and a tiny group of leaves got sent off from a runner
