Hi all,
I have 3 pregnant guppies .. all with very black gravit ... and quite rounded.
Someone had at least 2 fry as I spotted them this morning .. caught one .. presume one is eaten now as I could not catch him.
Anyway, went straight to the lfs to get a guppy breeder tank. My question is .. how do you tell is more likely to be the closest to giving birth ?
They all look the same .. one was eating less .. so put her in the breeder .. but how long do I leave her in there if nothing happens. She freaked out a bit when i put her in .. settled a bit now.
One absolutely freaked even when trying to catch her so gave up as she is more likely to die from fright ......
The other is acting usual so we'll see. Do they give birth over days .. because one of them has to have had given birth to these 2 fry ... but they all still have very black gravits and look rounded.
I would really appreciate any help in determining the last sign to look for when they are ready so I don't keep the wrong guppy in the breeder.
