How Do You Tell From Males And Females

I read that males are slimmer and females are fatter. But i just cant find this in the mollies. Im gussing that females are bigger and males are smaller. Is this right?
Also which sex show the best colours in black/silver mollies

Hi,

In livebeareres males have a gonopodium which is a modified anal fin, more pointed where the females is still fan shaped. theres a pic in the profile http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=46309 which is for platies but also applies to mollys.

What size tank do you have? You'll want to get at least 2 more females, or take a male back. Also, are you keeping your Mollies in salt?

Will the black and sliver try and breed or only the same type (blacks only)
