How Do You Pronounce Cacatuoides

ok I have heard this prounounced two different ways by LFS, and another on another forum, so wondering how you say it.

LFS #1 : kacka toids

LFS #2 : kaysha toids

another Forum #3 KA KA Too Oides

I myself just point at a fish and say that one there. but As i want to breed them I thought i would ask whats the correct way to say it, 1, 2, 3 or they are incorrect. and you know how to pronounce it.

I always just said things like- triple red cacs (kaks). I too studied a few years of Latin many decades ago. While I recognize the need for Latin names, I still hate Latin.

I totally agree. I hate Latin too. Especially when I make myself look daft trying to pronounce them in front of someone.

Thanks Guys. Well at least I can prounounce it now. Well yesterday I was not going to pronounce the name and look foolish so I pointed, I know its rude to point but its better than sounding foolish
