How Do You Pronouce It?

Hey guys,

I have always pronounced Ehiem the way it was spelt, kind of like a cough sound. I know this isn't correct, so how do I actually say it?

it's is siklid. I had real trouble with that one and actually looked it up! I was saying it kinda like pilchard. lmoa, I dunno why!

Not sure on this one but i would say bi-sheer.

With a Google search I found 3 pronunciations for bichir, "bi-cheer", "bee-sheer" & "bich' ur". I'm not an English major so I don't know how that last one is pronounced.

I pronounce ehiem to rhyme with "i'm".
I pronouce cichlid as "sicklid"
Bichir as bicheer


Dunno if i'm pronouncing these things correct, but at least no-ones corrected my pronounciation of these words in public yet .
