How Do You Know When There Finished

my fish is having babies has been for about 3/4 hours how do you know when there is not anymore

do they always have the gravid spot

she still has it but a smaller one than before and she has a flat tummy

its a guppy by the way

im asking because i dont want to put her back if shes still having them

Leave her until tomorrow. Guppies don't normally eat their own young, especially if she is well fed and there are plants n the tank. They can be in "labour" for up to a day. Normally however they finish giving birth after a couple of hours.
After the birth it is preferred that you put her in a tank without a male. The males annoy hell out of the females and the last thing she wants is to be pestered by a randy male straight after the birth.
