How Do You Feel When Your Fish Die?

if im honest, im not as devastated as i used to be, if it was my fault then of course i feel guilty. but havent had any major probs now for quite a while *touches wood*
but i think this only applies to the likes of my guppies, platys etc,, if one of my oscars died, that would be very different, i would be really heartbroken.. and thats an understatement!!.. gosh, puts a lump in my throat just thinking of it :( these boys mean the world to me ( i know sad isnt it)

shelagh xxxx

if they are the guppies i really dont care that much the ones i care more about are the ones that i spend a little bit more money on like the two dragon gobies that died recently :'(

Imagine if you lost a pair of triggerfish after you have forked out about £800 for them, must be gutting, losing beutiful fish and that amount of money must hurt alot.

Well in that case I guess I would think about the money. :) But as a grad student I don't have that kind of money to spend on fish anyway.

A friend of mine has a 400 gallon marine setup, and he lost two large Emperor fish and 8 yellow tangs to an ich outbreak. That must have put a dent in his wallet. I reckon the emperor fish cost more than my monthly rent.
