I kept brine shrimp in a saltwater solution bucket. Today they're all in a shoal under the water but they're still orange. Even when I put the light on they're not coming up. Are they dead?

Brine shrimp are very active and usually look like they're moving up and down. Dead ones fall to the bottom, - sounds like yours are dead. I would catch some in a glass then you can have a good look to see if they are moving.

I siphoned them into a glass and most of them are alive, yes some are dead but more than 80% are alive. Is there anyway to remove the dead ones. Will they harm the alive shrimp?
