how do u get rid of alge

whats the easiest, fastest, safeist (not nessisarily in that order) way to get rid of algae it wont go away

Clean the tank or get a pleco

alright i have 2 plecos a clown pleco and a common pleco but the algea is free floting like cloudy green water i dont think plecos help with that so i guess i clean my tank then? but what do i do?

If you clean the tank very very good the algae might not come back for awhile. And if you do that you might have enough time to find out what to do.

How long od you leave the light on each day? also, is your tank getting direct sunlight from somewhere?

i went to my lfs and they gave me these algae blocks, works very well.
