How Do I Raise The Co2 In My Tank

WELLLL... if u get an air stone and put it in with a hose and blow into it :D....

I know you have probably heard of this befor BUT the DIY yeast is really really simple... clean... cheap and requires NO effort at all...

for mine... i bought 10 ft of clear airhose at my LFS and an tiny air stone (round one) for 99cents... my total DIY yeast cost me $3 bucks... then u get an old 2liter pop bottle and put a cup of sugar(white) and a pinch of yeast in it and fill it up with water leaving like 3-4 inches at the top.... then stick the ugly thing behind your tank or out of site (hense why i got 10 ft of tubing) shove the airstone to the botton of the tank under your filter outlet to move ithe CO2 around... my plants are growing out of control its great... iv never had them this green befor... for me... i have 2 2liter bottles that go into a "T" airhose connector then just the one hose going into the tank... EASY AS PIE... I mabey spend 30 mins a month wiht it... IF THAT!!... just something to think about

ok thanks ill look into that further lol does that blowing meathod realy work. i couldnt imagine how long you would have to blow into the tank for lol

The yeast and sugar method does work. The other way is to use something like seachem's flourish excel, which is allegedly a liquid carbon source that plants are able to use.

no i mean the blowing meathod haha get a hose and blow into it. i couldnt imagine this working. does it.
thanks also thanks for the link. might invest in some of them

no it dont.

even if you had enough breath to last hte hole day it would be pointles. if i remember correctly you only breath out 5% or so carbon dioxide. the other 95% is oxygen and other gasses.

the bubble from you breath etc will drive the co2 out of the water anyway.
