How Do I Prepare Driftwood I Found?

i found some driftwood on a lake and i wondered how exactly i should prepare it?

At least let it dry out, then put it in the tank.

To be even safer, you could also pour boiling water over it and leave it to soak in a bucket of clean water for a few days after drying it out too.

Other than that, I wouldent worry too much .

thanks, its been drying out for a couple of weeks, could i just boil it and chuck it in?
