How Do I Plant Plants

if i get lose stems in the lead weights do i take the wieght and sponge off or leave it on

Take off every non-plant item.
Stick stem in substrate.

to add to what jallen said, some plants need to be planted differently...most mosses dont have roots so need tying onto hardscape...plants with a rhizome must have only their roots planted, not the rhizome (the long bulb at the bottom).

so like onion plants you see you only berry the roots not the bulb ok got that


and yeah im using java moss tied to slate so that i can creat a carpet of it

Don't bury the rhizome of java fern or anubias either.
It's best just to tie it to something instead of trying to bury it.
