How do I plant Mosaic Ludwigia?

Hello! I recently got some of this beautiful mosaic plant, but I am not sure how to go about planting it in the water. Should I bury it in the ground even if the mosaic leaves don't reach the top?

Yes it's fine to bury the leaves as long as the top part of the leaves are out
It'll grow as it needs in no time
