I just got two little bunches of glosstigmas today. I have no clue how to plant them. They still have those heavy straps on them to keep them together. How do I plant glosstigmas????

Best way i found was to cut then into individual plantlets and plant then about an inch apart. Its a pain in the butt , but it tends to spread this way rather than grow upwards.
glosso loves light and enriched substrate.

INDIVIDUAL PLANTLETS???!! thats going to take like 10 hours!!!! I hope your plan works

 No kidding!

I have a batch of HC (much smaller plant than Glosso) and i'm REALLY not looking forward to planting it. Doesn't have to be quite as individual plant planted from what I hear, but still... break out the really little tweezers and get wet!

I used a set of 12" forceps from a fishing tackle shop (cheap as chips)

You can do it the individual plantlets way, I have done this in the past, I'm sure a few other people on here can back me up it takes AGES. Some people like Amano for example recommend planting a few at a time but a good method I found with my potted glosso was to just take the base rock wool out of the pot. Cut off the bottom so you have the plant at the top and about 1cm thickness of rock wool under the plant, then you cut this into cm squares and bury each square in the substrate a few cms apart, this seems to carpet very quickly providing your parameters are right.
