How Do I Make My Tank's Water Clear For A Long Time

My water is always murkey and foggy, and my fish is becoming pale

I wasnt to know how to keep it clear for a long time so i don't have too clean it too often

any tips?

also sounds like you should get in the habit of weekly water changes, there's no real way of getting round this, it's not fair on the poor fish.
and check your filter is working ok
and don't over feed!

IMO there is no way that will safely get you out of regular maintenance. It's what you take on when you get a tank. People who buy a dog don't usually ask how they can get it do its business less frequently so they don't have to take it for walks every day. The equivalent maintenance needed for fish is:

i) preparing the tank carefully when you start it up (aka cycling, see links)

ii) weekly water changes replacing c. 20% with fresh dechlorinated water of the same temperature, and doing any algae scraping, plant trimming etc as required.

the lazy man's way (ie, my way) out of this pickle would be to invest in a diatom filter. really polishes the water up nice...
