How do I know if my guppy is pregnant?

I have some guppies and I was wondering how to tell if the females are pregnant. they are black so I cant see any kind of gravid spot, and I have heard that they don't always get noticeably fatter. Are there any other ways to tell??? I want to move here into a separat tank before she gives birth so I can save as much fry as possible.

Guppies usually get very very fat. My pregnant female looks like a grape with fins!

If you want to breed them I think the best way to do it is to put her in a separate tank to begin with. Then after adding tons of plants add the male you want to breed her with. Then after a couple weeks remove the male. You can then leave her in the breeding tank and won't have to worry about figuring out when to move her. And as an added bonus you will be helping her keep stress levels down by not moving a pregnant fish.
