I use one of those Red Sea CO2 units and I can only get my CO2 to about 19ppm. My pH is 7.2 and I turned the bubble setting on the CO2 unit on the highest setting but my CO2 is still about 19. How do I increase my CO2 ppm.

reduce surface agitation, try to keep the co2 in the water

use a much more efficient co2 diffusion method :) what kind of device are you using to diffuse the co2 into the water ?

19 ppm with an airstone aint bad :D try positioning the airstone under plants so that the bubbles get trapped or use a upturned bell to catch additional co2, ultimately you could try feeding the co2 into a filter or somerhing :D

If you use an external filter with a inlet pipe you could try putting the airstone under the inlet as the filter will suck some of the bubbles up & help diffuse them.

You really need a better method of diffusion than an airstone you need to hold the gas in the water column for a longer period than just bubbling through an airstone straight to the surface. You are probably wasting a lot of your Co2 using your existing method. You could still use the airstone method as long as you had some sort of contraption to keep it under the water for longer ie: bell jar. Upturned jar so as the bubbles from your airstone fill the jar which is below the water surface and when the jar becomes saturated it will release the excess. You will find a significant increase in the aquarium Co2 levels and reduction in pH if you adopt this method. Then you will have to regulate it.
