yesterday I found out that two of the head and tial lights tetra has mouth fungus. I spent like two hours trying to catch them and put them in the hospital tank. Does anyone have any sugestions to how to catch fast fishes fast?

I no how you feel, wait to you have to move them all out, i'm quite good at it now, i just use one net, but some use two nets, get them in a corner and trap them there, though they jump, best to get them from the top of the tank.

Hi,

The easiest way is to use two nets, one bigger than the other and use the smaller net to guide the fish into the bigger net, remove anything that will get in your way such as plants and ornaments and it should be fairly easy. The hardest fish i have found to catch is the khuli loach, but even thy can be caught this way.

YEP,two nets are the best option depending on the fish.I was moving my silvertip tetra yesterday due to suspected nipping and gave up on the last 3 after a few minutes.Nabbed them easily enough today after buying a 2nd smaller net and applying the same technique as emma

With slower fish scooping them up with a plastic jug is often a more preferable method, they don't seem to notice they're being caught so much.

I've found that the bigger the net the better. Just get a pretty large net and once you've got the fish keep it in the net in the water and fish it out with a smaller net.

I just use a big net, stick it in the tank for 10 mins or so, so the fish get close to it, then I strike on this fish i need -_-
