ive just spent around £30 on some plants for my 180l tank. i used a gravel that makes food ising bacteria inside the gravel (called eco compleat) and ive also been adding liquid plant food. whats the best CO2 system for a small number of plants, that will provide enough CO2 for them?

also how do i know when its time to prun my plants, i have a graby/cutting tool to help me (i can't reach the plants from the top).

finaly if you have Oxygen forming on the plants is that when theres enough CO2 in the tank? (i dont have any "bubbles" yet)shang hi :good:

Alright, the easiest thing with co2 but the most expensive is a pressurized co2 system. Checkout my journal to see what i got. It's easy and.. once it's setup you dont really gotta touch it. Gives you like half a year or more.. of co2.. without changing it...

Your going to want somthing to keep an eye on your co2 levels aswell which is ccalled a CO2 drop checker, tons of threads around this forum explaining what they are.. .how you use them... research it.

Your also wanna supply your planst with ferts.... research EI DOSING, thread pinned in this category, research read research read...

That will give you a good start. Pearling (o2 bubles on leaves) show growth in plants.. not all plants pearl as well as others... but it's a good sign.

research my friend.. that's my best thing i can tell ya
