How Do I Calculate Volume Properly?

Hello, all

Just been reading up on lighting,

How do you calculate your volume in US gallons?, just so i can follow the WPG properly.
Also how do i calculate UK gallons?

Im a metric ladd'oh

I think ( its been a while ) that I set up my tank doing WPL watts per litre

Not to sure what on earth im doing with it now, its getting stripped in a month or so and starting all over a fresh.

1 US Gallon = 3.8 Litres
1 UK Gallon = 4.5 Litres

So divide your Litres by 3.8 to get US Gallons or 4.5 for UK Gallons.

Or, you can multiply the height, lenght and depthin inches, then divide by 231. That will also give you the us gallons.
