how did this happen

wen i first added fish to my tank i bought 2 neon tetras, 2male guppies, 1 female guppy, 2 harlequins, 1 silver molly and 1 black molly. after a few weeks my guppies had babies and when i could tell which was female and which was male half of them were guppies and half were different. was this by the black and silver molly or my other fish.

It could be quite possible that both livebearers had their fry at the same time. I've had up to 3 females have babies in one day, so its not uncommon and considering how easy livebearers will have babies it could happen.

It couldn't be the other fish, they aren't livebearers. It was probably the mollies. Are the fry bigger than the guppy fry?

yes. they are bigger. they each have a load of blck spots on them.

Congratulations it sounds like you have made some dalmation or marbled mollies. They can be very cute!
