how come one of my snails shell is emply, and the other snails were eating him. who would of killed it the snails. will it of been the flame gramies or the upside down cat ??

It's quite likely that the snail just died of it's own accord and the other snails decided to have a munch on him. I don't think any of the fish in your tank would have killed it.
