how come females keep dieing after giving birth

i'm just wondering why my female's keep dieing after they give birth to the fry. its like a week later that they die. if anyone thinks they have a reason could they please tell me. thanx

Stress... sometimes after a female has given birth they do die from stress. How large is your tank? What otehr fish do you have in there? Is it heavily planted?

the tank that i have them in to give birth in is a 20g. they r in a bredding kit so that the fry and drop through into the tank so they don't get eating. after about 12hours i put them back into my 35g tank watch has some good places for them to hide

That could be the reason for their death - I prefer not to move the adult females. Instead, my breeder tank is FULL of java moss - many of the fries survive because of this. Once they reach about 1cm, I move them to the grow out tank along with other larger fries.

I don't recall loosing any females after birth so far...
