How can you tell the sex of ClownLoaches and Neon

Hi..don't think you can sex clown loaches. It is sorta moot because I don't believe clown loaches have EVER been bred in captivity. sH

1, I have no idea, I think female neons are plumper.

hi dont know about clowns but as said female neons have much rounder bellies - & it has the effect of making their blue stripe look like it bends upwards, males are much sleeker & 'straighter' & their blue stripe looks straight too (does that make sense) if you see the two sexes together its easy to spot the diff. try google for pics

ive got no idea about neons but i know u cnt tell the difference between clowns as they have never been breed in captivity.

I heard that the male neons will have a straight stripe while the female has a crooked one.

Or is that wrong?

Sorry but they have been bred in the UK - just its a rare occurence
