How Can You Tell If A Molly Is Pregnant?

I was a little naive when i got my two mollies, not realising they were livebearers, were better in numbers to avoid stress etc.

Anyway, i have two dalmation mollies. I thought that females were larger than males.

The thing is, my larger molly is sleek and streamlined, whereas the smaller molly has what i can only describe as a 'beer gut'. It has been shaped like this for some weeks.

I would post pictures but need to sort out webspace first.

Are you sure its not a balloon mollie? It probs is but post pics just to be sure.

Yeah sounds like she is pregnant, most female mollies who are kept in with males are pregnant all the time!! She can have more than one brood from the same fertilization cos the sperm lives inside her.
