How Can I Tell That A Platy Is Pregnant?

would anyone please tell how to make sure that a platy is pregnant so that I can transfer it to the delivery tank?

hi,
if shes been near a male or lives with them, there is a good chance shes pregnant, if you can see a black gravid spot near her anal fin, shes def pregnant, but this depends on the colour of the fish, if your fish is yellow or a coral colour you can see this spot more than if it was say red/orange.
