How can I make my fish bowl looks better?

I have a 3 gallon fish bowl and I think it doesn't look good and yes there is no filter it's not clean. Deciding to add some shrimps. Before that, how can I make it looks better? Any suggestions?

I think it looks rather nice! Live plants, I assume? What kinds of plants do you have? I think I see some sort of anubias and some swords. The swords will outgrow their enclosure very quickly. Artificial light or just sunlight?

I think it would look better with darker sand, closer to the color of your rocks and/or pots. And some smaller plants like clover fern (Marsilia crenate) or mosses. In such a small container, many small plants will probably look better than a few big plants.

yeaa the sword will grow out. The other plants are anubias, java fern and sunset. It's artificial lednlight.

I had an amazon sword take over an entire half of a 55 gallon one time. Those things are ferocious once they get going!
