i think depending on the fish, make sure there big enough to cope with the other fish, and defend them self.

They should be too big to fit in the other fishes mouthes.

I was wondering the same thing. I have 1 month old Molly fry and will be going on vacation a month from now. I am hoping they are big enough by then not to be gobbled up by the larger White Molly in the tank! I don't think the platies pose a threat, and these little guys are very fast swimmers.

I put month old fry back in the main tank this weekend. They are plenty big enough to live happily with the others and are still alive today! I guess they measure about an inch long now (mollies).

How are the month old fry adapting? I am scared to put mine in, they are 5 weeks old, they still seem too small but maybe I am just being paranoid...

the quicker they are put back into the tank where there is moer room for them to swim the faster they will grow and become healthy big adults!!!
