How Big Is It?

Hi all,
rite i am lookin 4 a nw tank and i have found one but i need to know how much bigger it is.
I have a 18x10x10 tank can you pleas tell me how big in litres and gallons it is.
Then the one that i am interested in is a hex and it says approx 50 litres so how big is that in gallons.

The hex is 11 Imperial Gallons. Your current one is 6.66 UK gallons, so water volume is alot larger, but you need to keep in mine the footprint: fish swim is stratas so hex's are not ideal.

Is that 18x10x10 in inches or centimeters?? If it is in cm then it's 1,8 liter (less than a half US gal), if it's in inches its about 29 litres (litle more than 7 and a half US gal)... 50 litres is a litle more than 13 US gallons.

i used to have a hex tank and i hated it!


awful things compared to normal tanks.


the sides are too small to allow for decent viewing of your fish and if ya try to follow them round the tank (looking at them from different sides) because of the distortion there in a different place every angle you look.


having sed that, i wouldnt mind a betta in a hex tank.
