How Big Im Confused

[my fat fish]

hi i got a tank that is 52" (4 n half foot)x12"(1 foot)x18" and i worked it out to be about 47 gallons but someone posted with a tank 4ft by 18 inches by 12 inches and people are saying that is 55gallons so how big is mine in uk gallons?

Sorry if I'm teaching Granny how to suck eggs, but all the 1" fish per gall and 1w light per gall etc refer to US gall not UK gall. If, however you had a completely different reason for wanting to know I'll crawl back under my shell
