how big can my fish get before having to get

how big can my fish get before having to get a bigger tank than my 29 gallon? I know the pleco will need a bigger tank but will the rainbow shark need to be moved too? How big of a tank? 55 gal

How big do rainbow sharks get? I've heard anywhere from 5" to 9".
Are sinking shrimp pellets good for those?

I feed my rainbow shark general stuff, he comes to eat flakes as they float down. I think aroundthe 6" mark is normal for them. Id be worried about your common plec and angels to be honest. I wouldn't keep angels in anything less than than a 40 gallon (about 160l) and not smaller than 18" high.

I think a 55 may be ok for a common plec providing you allowed for the amount of waste they produce when deciding how many fish to put in.

Rainbow sharks get 4-6",tops.

I think the rainbow shark will be fine in a 29 gallon assuming that you have a cave etc. for him. If they are in a smaller tank it is good idea to understock because they can become very aggressive if they don't have their own space. They can get 6" in a tank.

I agree with Cheese Specialist-Your tank is too small for the Angels and Plec.
