I have a large (14") Vegetarian fish but not sure what to feed. The previous owner said sweetcorn or lettuce, do I just chuck it in, does it get cooked first, do I use tinned sweetcorn?

Ive tried washed tinned corn but it just sinks to the bottom and then he doesnt touch it which is then a pain to get out.

Any help or advice appreciated, any other items I could also use?

Cucumber works, that you can feed raw. The lettuce I guess you could boil some.

I've tried cucumber, courgette (nuked briefly in microwave to soften a bit) and banana, all successfully. I've heard others using broccoli, lettuce, spinach, peas etc as well, blanched before hand. To stop them floating I've always just used a plant weight, which works great. :)
