I have 4 platies less than 24 hours old in a breeding trap. They are barely moving, I've put some leafs in there and they are kind of hiding in it, but really not moving that much. I'm scared they are too open as its a clear trap and the other fish can see them.

I have a separate 10 gal tank which has 2 week baby fry in it, should I move them into that?

I'm just a bit worried about the lack of activity, or is it normal?

mine didn't move much (then they were eaten)

s as far as i know it's normal

fry will move under cover and dont like light that much
dont worry

they will be fine mine were mostly imobile and now are all healthy n happy

ps breeding nets are better

Ah ok, yeah they all seem to have hidden under the leafs I put in there. I thought they liked light though?

Thanks for that though, how long were they immobile for?

What makes breeding nets better? I have a trap and a net and used the trap because I thought that was supposed to be better :S
