Only going by a couple of sites, im looking at giving my One and only blood parrot cichlid some company, he is around 8in long now. I have what seems to be a 75g tank, its reasonably large.

I was thinking of the following combo of fish,,,

3x Tinfold Barb;
1x upside down catfish;
1x kribensis;
2x moonlight gouramis;
1x yoyo loach;
1x tri color shark and
1x prochilodus.

What do you think?

If not, as im sure there will be reasoning coming, which fish could I use?

Thanks peeps.

Chris

Looks like you haven't had any reply's, so I will give it a shot. But, I am by no means a stocking guru! My main concern is the tinfoil barbs as the get very, very large. Also yoyo loaches like to have friends!! They don't like to be alone. I would up that to 5 especially since it looks like your bottom is fairly empty. They are much more outgoing and out and about in a group.
I know cichlids have a fairly certain PH and water range and Im not sure if all those fish would be okay with that, but you'd have to wait for an expert to answer that!!
That's just my 2 cents, hopefully a few more people will give there opinions.

my comments :)

3x Tinfold Barb; can be nippy, best kept in groups of 6+
1x upside down catfish; i think there's quite a few species that go under this common name, can you be more specific which one you want
1x kribensis;
2x moonlight gouramis; be careful of agression, sometimes gourami's bully each other. it can work but just be aware to keep an eye on things.
1x yoyo loach;
1x tri color shark; that's a pangasius catfish isn't it?? don't get one they're absolute monsters, check the pinned topic in the catfish section for some shocking pics of just how big they get.
1x prochilodus.

My 3 main concerns would be that the Tinfoils will eventually get to big really for a 75 gallon as they can be easily spooked and it raises the chances of them damaging themselves, also both the Upside Down Cats and Yoyo Loaches do better in groups, ideally at least 4 of each to see normal social interaction. It would also be worth while finding out the exact size of your tank, "I have what seems to be a 75g tank, its reasonably large" seems a little vague.

I'm sure I replied to this thread. Have you got more than one going? *easily confused so please ignore if not - cringe, blush, etc etc*

yeah i think there's 2! it's not just you ;)

There is 2, I didn't realize until a bit later that he also had this posted elsewhere with several replys! I replied to this one since it had zero and I hate seeing things go un-answered! But, at least now he is getting a little more advice.

Mad Duff - I agree with you. Could we please get the exact measurements of your tank Chris then someone (althought not me!) can tell you how many gallons you have. That will help greatly with what fish can stay and what fish need to go!
