House Ornaments

in tanks that is. I have quite a few ornaments I am fed up with...nice fat buddah..dragon etc. was thinking of putting them in fish tanks but not sure if they would harm the fish.
Anyone got any thoughts on this topic?

if they're rocks, put vinegar on them if they fizz then no dont use them, otherwise i think its ok if you wash it thouroughly (sp?) enough. but if its made out of wood i dont think you should in case theres some chemical stuff in it

I've tried it before with a dragon ornament I've got, it might be a good idea to coat it with epoxy or something.

I've used thoroughly washed and sanitized rocks for my rosy tank, and I've considered other household things, like statuettes and even weighted army men. It might be worth a try!
