i baught a hornwort at the aquarium store on friday(good friday) and it was but a little clump, maybe 4 inch ball at best? well its literally 4 to 5 times its size, it now reaches the top of my 29 gal and about 4 inches on top of that spread out. i have it tied down to the bottom. i love the stuff and want to know if and how i can trim it to have it grow else where w/ out any adverse effects to the plant or the new trimmed transfer plant. any advice is greatly appreciated.

Trim it back however you want. If you remove the tips you can replant them (or leave them floating) and the stem will branch out making the plant more bushy.
